ABOUT THE FACULTY  

The Faculty strives to promote education and teaching in Pre-Hospital Care and during 2012 has worked with BASICS and BASICS Scotland to establish a Regional Faculty infrastructure throughout the country and the activity in each Region should become evident during 2013. This infrastructure is designed to deliver an educational process for all members and non members in Pre-Hospital Care. 

The Goals of the Faculty are:

To set and maintain standards of practice in pre-hospital care.
To promote education in and teaching of pre-hospital care
To initiate technical developments and research in pre-hospital care
To integrate effectively the efforts of all participants in pre-hospital care, and to harmonise and facilitate the onward management of the sick and injured.​

Anglo-Swedish Society 
A member since September 2014

Founded in 1918 in the aftermath of the First World War, the Anglo-Swedish Society was established to foster greater understanding and friendship between Britain and Sweden. The continued strong bond between these two nations has allowed the Society to evolve into a non-profit organisation that promotes intellectual and cultural crossover by organising prestigious events and supporting scholarships of the arts.

The Society raises funds to enable Swedish students the opportunity to attend and experience some of the UK’s most esteemed institutions such as the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Royal Ballet School in Covent Garden. It also supports exchange programmes between British and Swedish associations such as the Royal College of Art and Konstfack. Money is raised via membership fees, events and donations.

The Society enjoys the patronage of King Carl Gustaf of Sweden, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Swedish Ambassador to the United Kingdom is a registered charity In England.

​Royal Television Society
A Full Member since January 2015

The Royal Television Society (commonly known in the television industry as the RTS) is a British-based educational charity for the discussion, and analysis of television in all its forms, past, present and future. It is the oldest television society in the world. It currently has fourteen regional and national centres in the UK, as well as branches in the Republic of Ireland, Canada and the United States.
