Level 3 Member of the Faculty ABOUT THE FACULTY The Faculty strives to promote education and teaching in Pre-Hospital Care and during 2012 has worked with BASICS and BASICS Scotland to establish a Regional Faculty infrastructure throughout the country and the activity in each Region should become evident during 2013. This infrastructure is designed to deliver an educational process for all members and non members in Pre-Hospital Care. The Goals of the Faculty are: To set and maintain standards of practice in pre-hospital care. To promote education in and teaching of pre-hospital care To initiate technical developments and research in pre-hospital care To integrate effectively the efforts of all participants in pre-hospital care, and to harmonise and facilitate the onward management of the sick and injured. |
